Our Story
About Robyn
Hi! I am Robyn. I am a Christian woman from the south who has the privilege of mothering four amazing kids and being married to her college sweetheart for over two decades. We are a military family ( Air Power!!) now living in Greenville, SC. I love singing, drama, and painting. If I am honest, I love the idea of the outdoors, baking, exercising and personal reading more than I actually do them. I do actually read aloud to my kids and even use character voices. I am an Engineer by degree and have a past life in product development. I should be super organized but the state of my house says otherwise. My love languages might be air conditioning and food ( chocolate & cheese specifically). I love encouraging others and praying with them. I hope you enjoy using these prints as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
About Robynnotes
A little over a decade ago when all of my friends were having babies, I wanted to give gifts that were special and personalized. I started making watercolor prints that incorporated their babies names. I had babies at the time and it gave me great joy to paint during naptime or in the middle of the night. I would turn the prints into stationery for personalized thank you notes. It didn’t cross my mind that people might want to buy them until one friend, Miranda, asked if she could re-order. I didn’t realize the impact that my notes made until a friend, Stephanie, told me she generally hated writing thank you notes but loved writing on the cute stationery I had made for her son. The idea of RobynNotes was laid ... I came up with the name, logo, and email address and then my husband was unexpectedly deployed. Needless to say, Robynnotes was put on a shelf in her nest.
Currently, my kids are a little older, and I still love making watercolor prints. I decided that it was time to try and hatch RobynNotes from years ago. My family is helping me in this small business. My kids are helping me package the products and pack orders. Our process is pretty simple, I paint with watercolors and finish the designs in ink. We have them printed at local print shops in the United States. My children help me package everything so you can make your sentiments sing and write beautiful notes. ( with the exception of the tea towels…don’t write on those)
